Illamasqua is a brand that’s recognised for encouraging self-expression and experimentation with your make up. One of the things I love is how creative the brand is, and although I only owned an eyeshadow palette from Illamasqua I’ve always found myself lusting after all their products – it’s impossible not to! I recently got to experience a master class to celebrate the launch of their latest Spring collection ‘May Queen’.
When it comes to beauty products I’m a sucker for packaging and Benefit’s latest blusher ‘GALifornia’ ticks all the boxes: pretty pastel colours, retro seventies-esque illustration and delicate gold foil detailing. The design is inspired by vintage California surfer girls and is super cute! Blusher isn’t something I buy often but I couldn’t resist this beauty.
Serums are a skincare product I’ve only recently got into using. As they’ve grown evermore popular over the past few years I decided to finally try one out and implement it into my skincare routine. Serums have active ingredients in, meaning they are perfect for targeting certain skincare concerns. I was on the lookout for one especially for sensitive skin that was full of helpful natural ingredients. I came across Trilogy’s Very Gentle Calming Serum*, which sounded ideal.
I first delved into Inika back in April when I tried out their compact blush puff pot, and I’d since had my eye on a few more of their 100% natural and cruelty-free products – especially their lipsticks and tints. I decided to try the Inika Lip Tint in the shade ‘Cosmic’, which is a product I wouldn’t typically go for.
