I’m always browsing the make-up stands in Boots but admittedly I don’t usually go straight to the Seventeen products. They're a brand I tend to overlook but they deserve much more attention than they get. Lately Seventeen have been bringing out some super exciting products that are perfect for those on a budget. The Boots beauty team kindly sent me over a few bits to review which I’m really pleased with.
After using eyebrow pencils since I can remember, I’ve only recently started trying out brow powder kits and I wish I did it sooner! The Seventeen Brow’s That! Brow Kit* is £5.99 and contains a wax, powder, highlighter, mini pencil and brush. The ash brown shade is perfect for my eyebrows and I would definitely repurchase it. The wax and powder combination keeps your brows in place all day and I’m a big fan of the pearly highlighter, too. The packaging is sleek and the mirror makes it ideal for popping it in your bag and using it whenever you want!
The Seventeen Wet Look Lacquer Liner* is something I wouldn’t usually go for. I tend to sway towards pen liners as I find them so much easier to apply. However, the Lacquer Liner is an absolute steal at just £3.99 and the product is surprisingly easy to apply. It has great staying power, doesn’t smudge and is highly pigmented which is what I look for in an eyeliner. I'm not sure I'll be ditching my pen liners yet but I'll definitely be using this for when I want a glossy finish.
I’m constantly adding to my lipstick collection so Seventeen’s Stay Pout in ‘Infared’* is definitely my favourite product of the bunch. The deep cherry shade is perfect for Autumn/Winter and it's super affordable at just £4.49. Infared doesn’t dry my lips out and has better staying power than some of the high-end lipsticks I own! There are fifteen shades in the Stay Pout collection and I can't wait to try out more.
Seventeen have also recently launched their Blogger Network which is free to sign up to and gives you access to make-up tips and product information.
