Yes To is a brand I’ve been loving over the past few months, and after trying out two of their moisturisers I'm now certain I've found the best one for my skin type – the Yes To Cucumbers Daily Calming Moisturiser *.
Yes To products are always at least 95% natural, free of parabens and completely recyclable. On top of this, they also offer six different ranges, one to suit every skin and hair type. I’ve previously tried the Yes To Tomatoes moisturiser, for combination or oily skin, which worked fine. However, I’ve since been trying out the Yes To Cucumbers range, which is specifically for normal or sensitive skin, and have been so impressed. Cucumbers are full of rejuvenating vitamins A and C that help to calm skin, and I find this range is best suited to my skin type which is usually combination/sensitive. I’ve been using the Yes To Cucumbers Daily Calming Moisturiser* for the past few months and have repurchased it over and over again.
The moisturiser comes in a simple bottle with a pump and a cap. The pump is useful for controlling how much product you want to apply which is usually around a pea-size amount. For £11.99 you get 50ml of product, which may not seem like a lot for the price but it typically lasts around 2 months which is quite good.
The main ingredients are organic cucumbers, aloe vera and sweet almond oil. It also contains: shea butter, cocoa seed butter, broccoli extract, spinach leaf extract, olive leaf extract, rosemary leaf extract, olive fruit oil, jojoba seed oil and vitamin E. It has a lovely soft cucumber scent that is refreshing but very faint.
The moisturiser has a smooth texture which makes it easy to apply to your skin. I use one thin layer, morning and night, and find that it sinks in pretty quickly. It instantly leaves my face feeling hydrated, without leaving it greasy like other products I've tried. My face feels much calmer since using it and I don't experience as much irritation or breakouts. If you have sensitive or combination skin I would definitely recommend this moisturiser!
